Here we are, ready to start a new season. While we all have a better idea of how we move forward after being impacted by Covid, we still face uncertainty as a new season approaches.
Our goal/desire for our studio is to provide a sense of normalcy, in the safest way possible.
Strict illness policies are NOT new for Sanibel Dance. We have always had a very strict illness policy in place. The difference moving forward, we will enforce it more than we previously have.
Class sizes are limited this year. We will create a waiting list for classes that fill up. Register as soon as possible in order to save a spot for your dancer.
Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned regularly throughout the day. Air purifiers/sanitizers have been added to the dance room and lobby.
Since we are a smaller, one room studio this has become a benefit now more than ever. We have the ability to well manage touched surfaces and number of people inside our studio on a daily basis.
Little dancers will be assigned their own prop bucket and will be the only one to touch their items each week.
We will monitor state and national recommendations and follow guidelines as required. Our lobby will be restricted to 5 parents at a time for all ages of dancer. Due to space limitations, parents of children over 5 should take turns watching inside the lobby. Only one parent per dancer/family will be allowed inside the lobby. Siblings/friends/other family members should be kept at home as much as possible. We completely understand this is not always possible. In the event younger siblings must attend, families should wait in their vehicle or enlist help from other dance parents or our staff to assist you when the lobby is at capacity. You will find our families tend to bond since we are smaller. Our staff and dance parents are happy to help each other whenever they can.
If you have any concern, please contact the studio.
We look forward to seeing our dance families return in person this season!
